RABBIT DISCUSSIONS

Rabbit meat is very nutritious. It’s hard to believe that you can’t find it in most of our local grocery stores.  It’s actually healthier than beef, lamb, chicken and pork. It’s higher in protein and lower in cholesterol, fat and sodium. It isn’t difficult to produce high quality chemical-free meat.  Raising your rabbits on pellet will cost approximately $1.00 a pound.

Jason White from Plans and Provisions is starting his Rabbitry. We talk about why Rabbits are a good choice for every family.  I share some tips to help sell your rabbits and some unexpected rabbit challenges you may face.  We also discuss some breeding tips as well as supplementing your pellet costs by growing your own rabbit feed.  Thanks for listening!
