LEARN HOW TO SKIN, CLEAN, QUARTER, AND PACKAGE YOUR RABBIT- SCROLL DOWN TO THE BOTTOM
#1 BOILED RABBIT (shredded)
Place rabbit in a large pot, cover with water. I’ll add a wheat ale beer(Blue Moon). If you don’t have beer just use water it’s still delicious without. Add (1) bay leaf , some garlic salt and black pepper.
Put cover on pot and bring to a boil, Reduce heat and simmer it very gently so it barely bubbles for 90 minutes. Remove and allow to cool. When cool, pull meat from the bones and shred.
This is my favorite and easiest way to make Tacos, Sliders, Salads or just sandwich meat for later.
Spice to taste. Slow grill on low-Medium heat -turn every 5-6 minutes brush on your choice of barbecue sauce with every turn of the tongs. When done, remove from grill and wrap in tinfoil with a lemon slice. Nothing to it. So Good!
#3 FRIED RABBIT
Dip rabbit pieces in egg, roll in seasoned flour, (Repeat for extra crispy)
Place meat in frying pan in hot oil over medium heat, flip after a few minutes
Flip every couple minutes until sides are golden brown
#5 BAKED RABBIT
